What is Visual Kei?

What is Visual Kei? Well, there are a lot of fan made definitions out there....Here's another one! Just incase you don't know, for whatever reason, visual kei is a Japanese style of music. (NOT traditional or hogaku music) This style has large emphasis on appearance, or visuals. Many band members dress very feminine like. (Ever seen the great Mana? He's a good example.) The music itself, I've found, can have a wide variation in sounds.
